Man Utd ready to accept offers for midfield outcast
Manchester United have made the decision to part ways with midfielder Christian Eriksen when the transfer window reopens.
The Dane joined the Red Devils on a free transfer in the summer of 2022 and he had a good first half to the season before an ankle injury.
Since his injury comeback, he has looked far from his best. In the current campaign, he has been out of contention for a starting role.
Eriksen has already expressed his disappointment over the same and United are prepared to grant him an exit during the summer.
They are likely to offload him for a nominal fee. Galatasaray and Ajax are said to be among the front-runners to secure his services.
Brentford are also open to the prospect of re-signing him, though they seem unlikely to meet the wage demands of the former Inter ace.
Aside from Eriksen, the likes of Sofyan Amrabat and Casemiro are expected to head for the exit door in the next window.
