AS Monaco enter talks with Chelsea to sign striker
AS Monaco have entered talks with Chelsea to sign Armando Broja, according to reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Broja has been a fringe player for the Blues over the past few years. He was sent on loan to
Fulham during the second half of last season.
His temporary spell was highly unsuccessful, but he continues to attract interest from top European clubs. Monaco are now pushing for him.
Talks have already been established with the Blues and the Ligue 1 outfit will be aiming to negotiate a reasonable fee for a summer transfer.
Ben Yedder has been a revelation for Monaco over the last five seasons, but he has decided to leave when his contract expires next month.
Instead of pursuing an experienced marksman, Monaco want to keep the faith on Folarin Balogun and another young centre-forward.
Broja could be the solution for the Principality outfit, provided Chelsea don't price them out of a summer transfer deal.
