AC Milan propose to sign Romelu Lukaku on loan
AC Milan have proposed to sign Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku on a season-long loan deal, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Belgium international spent the recent campaign on loan with Roma where he scored 21 goals from 47 appearances.
Roma have opted against re-signing him, and it is now reported that the Rossoneri are exploring a temporary deal for him.
Their proposal is expected to be rejected by the Blues, who are determined to offload their striker on a permanent basis this time.
Lukaku currently has a release clause worth £38 million in his contract and they are reluctant to accept anything less for him.
Milan are eyeing a replacement for Olivier Giroud and it seems they may have to focus elsewhere to find a proper successor.
Stuttgart's Serhou Guirassy has been linked with the Serie A giants, but Borussia Dortmund appear favourites to sign him.
Guirassy was brilliant last season with 30 goals to his name. He is currently available for a low release clause of £17 million.
