Chelsea enter talks to sign Leeds United midfielder
Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Leeds United midfielder Archie Gray this summer.
The Blues are expected to be busy in the transfer market after balancing their books by the end of June.
They have already been linked with Kieran Dewsbury-Hall and The Telegraph reveal their interest in Gray.
The 18-year-old had his big breakthrough campaign with the Whites last term with more than 50 appearances.
He is largely a defensive midfielder by trade, but made 30 appearances from the right-back position for his club.
With his huge versatility, he could be a brilliant asset for the Blues in years to come. The question is the price tag.
Leeds won't want to lose one of their best graduates on the cheap and they could demand at least £40m for his services.
Chelsea seem to be preparing a team for the future rather than signing experienced stars on big weekly wages.
Gray may not be an assured starter in the short-term and could evolve into a key player for them with right progress.
