Man Utd open to re-signing Spanish defender?
Manchester United are open to re-signing Spanish left-back Sergio Reguilon from Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
Reguilon joined the Red Devils on loan from Spurs last summer after injuries sustained by
Luke Shaw and
Tyrell Malacia
.
He made 12 appearances in the first half of the season, but United sent him back in January by triggering a break clause.
Reguilon went on to join Brentford on loan in the back end of the campaign and he is now expected to pursue a transfer.
West Ham and Juventus are among his admirers, but reports claim that United could also revive their interest in his services.
AS claim that manager Erik ten Hag is eyeing a quality competitor to Shaw and Malacia, who have been largely injury prone.
Diogo Dalot excelled as a makeshift left-back in the second half of last season, but ten Hag wants a specialist in the role.
Reguilon could be signed for a cut-price fee of £10m.
