Arsenal eyeing swoop for Wolves goalkeeper
Arsenal are eyeing a surprise move for Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Dan Bentley, according to David Ornstein.
The Gunners currently have
David Raya as their first-choice goalkeeper with
Aaron Ramsdale acting as his potential deputy.
Ramsdale has been linked with a potential move away from the club, but as things stand, there are no offers on the table.
Despite this, the Gunners are said to be pursuing a new keeper and Bentley is reportedly prepared to accept a third-choice role.
However, a deal won't be easy to secure. Wolves want a reasonable fee for the transfer such that they can reinvest on a replacement.
Bentley has made just seven appearances in the Premier League over the last two seasons. He has been a deputy behind Jose Sa.
Despite this, he continues to be valued by Wolves , who believe he could become their number one goalkeeper in the near future.
Sa has been linked with a big-money move to Saudi Arabia.
