Man Utd have £42m bid accepted for French star
Manchester United have had a £42 million offer accepted for Lille defender Leny Yoro this summer, according to Nabil Djelitt.
The Red Devils are keen on landing two central defenders this summer. They are currently in advanced talks to sign Matthijs de Ligt from Bayern Munich.
The club are also exploring a deal for another young centre-back. Yoro has been on their radar and Djelitt has now provided some good news.
United submitted a written offer worth £42m for Yoro earlier today which was accepted by Lille. However, a deal is far from straightforward.
Yoro is currently determined to make the switch to Real Madrid and he is currently waiting for Los Blancos to agree terms with Lille.
Madrid are presently reluctant to pay more than £17m for the wonderkid and Lille have no plans of accepting such a low-ball offer.
If Madrid can't find a solution in the coming weeks, Yoro could open the door to joining United, who have been long-term admirers.
