PSV set fresh asking price for Man Utd target Cody Gakpo
PSV Eindhoven have increased their asking price for Manchester United target Cody Gakpo, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Dutchman has had a superb season with PSV where he has scored 13 goals and provided 17 assist from 24 appearances.
He was also superb for the Netherlands at the World Cup with three goals and it is now claimed that he could leave PSV in January.
United are obviously favourites to land his signature and Romano claims that they will need to make a significant outlay for him.
PSV were looking for around €50 million at the start of the season but that valuation has increased to €60-65m ahead of January.
It remains to be seen whether the hierarchy will pay the fee. Erik ten Hag recently confirmed that the club are on the hunt for a striker.
Gakpo is a left-winger by trade but he reportedly has the ambition to play as a centre-forward, should he join the Red Devils this winter.
