Chelsea have decided to sell Trevoh Chalobah
Chelsea have made the decision to sell Trevoh Chalobah in the ongoing transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 25-year-old has been with the Blues since graduating through the youth system, but he is expected to be sold in the coming weeks.
Chalobah was one of the club's best performers in the back end of last season, but he has been left out of the US pre-season tour.
The Blues don't want risk an injury to Chalobah, who has been identified as one of the graduates to be offloaded for PSR reasons.
The west London giants need to recoup funds from player sales to balance their books. Chalobah would provide pure profit as a graduate.
Aside from him, the likes of Armando Broja and Conor Gallagher could also be offloaded by the hierarchy before the deadline.
The Blues have identified Fulham ace Andreas Pereira as a potential replacement, should Gallagher head for the exit door.
