Arsenal agree to sell midfielder for £34m
Arsenal have reached an agreement to sell midfielder Emile Smith Rowe to Fulham for £34 million, according to Sky Sports News.
The Gunners have been tipped to offload their graduate for some period of time and he is now on the verge of leaving the club.
Smith Rowe is currently on his way from the United States in order to undergo a medical with the Cottagers later this week.
If things go as planned, the Cottagers will pay an initial £27m to sign the 24-year-old, who has already agreed terms over a long-term deal.
Crystal Palace were also interested in signing the England international, but he has had a clear plan of joining the Cottagers from the off.
Marco Silva convinced him with his project at the west London outfit and Smith Rowe could soon join his new teammates in their Portugal camp.
Fulham start their new Premier League campaign against Manchester United on August 16. Smith Rowe could make his full debut.
