Man Utd discussing deals for €70m Bundesliga duo
Manchester United are aiming to sign Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich in the coming days, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Red Devils recently made a double transfer bid for the duo, but the proposal was immediately rejected by the German heavyweights.
Romano has now revealed that Bayern want a combined €70m for the duo, but United are aiming to pay a much lesser fee for the pairing.
Talks are ongoing between the clubs at the moment and United remain confident of securing an agreement for the talented duo soon.
United start their new season with a Community Shield game against Manchester City. It will be played at the Wembley next weekend.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils are scheduled to start the new Premier League campaign at home to Fulham on the 16th of August.
Manager Erik ten Hag would ideally want De Ligt and Mazraoui in his matchday squad to face the Cottagers in the curtain-raiser.
