Marc Guiu speaks on his future plans at Chelsea
Chelsea striker Marc Guiu has said that he is ready for the Premier League amid speculation that he could be loaned out next season.
The Spaniard joined the Blues from Barcelona for £5 million earlier this summer and he has caught the eye with his performances in pre-season.
Despite this, there are claims that he could move on loan, considering the Blues are planning to sign a marquee striker before the transfer deadline.
When asked about it, he told Daily Mail : "I still don’t know if I will go on loan… but I think I'm ready for the Premier League."
"It was tough decision to leave Barça, for sure — but I always wanted to play in the Premier League. I hope to stay, I’m working for it."
Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson are the main strikers at the moment, but the hierarchy are eyeing another marksman.
Guiu does not appear in the plans of manager Enzo Maresca and he could be loaned out as soon as the club land a new centre-forward.
