Enzo Maresca confirms Chelsea duo can leave
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed that Chelsea duo Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell are not part of his first-team plans.
Sterling and Chilwell were left out of the matchday squad against Manchester City and they are now likely to head for the exit door.
When pressed on the same by reporters, Maresca said: "I just try to be honest. I told Raheem he’s going to struggle to get minutes with us. Chilly, he’s going to struggle here to."
Sterling was unhappy with the manager's decision last week, but he has come to terms and prefers a permanent exit before the deadline.
Chilwell, on the other hand, is open to any kind of possibility. He is most likely to leave on loan before the transfer window closes next week.
Aside from the duo, Romelu Lukaku , Trevoh Chalobah , Armando Broja and David Datro Fofana are expected to head for the exit door.
There is a possibility that Noni Madueke could also be sold. Newcastle United have been long-term admirers of the ex-PSV winger.
