Arsenal handed big injury boost with defender back in training
Arsenal have been handed a big boost with Kieran Tierney back in individual training after a hamstring injury.
The Scotland international spent the previous campaign on loan with Real Sociedad where he had multiple fitness issues.
He went to represent his country at Euro 2024, but lasted for just one game. He pulled his hamstring against Germany.
Tierney has been under rehabilitation over the past few months and he has now returned to working on the grass again.
The 27-year-old will be hoping to build up his fitness in order to be integrated into the first-team plans soon.
Tierney was initially expected to be sold by the Gunners, but their plans changed after his unfortunate injury blow.
He has now been included in the club's Champions League squad for the league phase and could be involved in some capacity.
Arsenal will be hoping that he can stay unscathed until the turn of the year such that they can receive suitable transfer bids.
