Tyler Adams set for Chelsea move
Chelsea are to pay Tyler Adams' release clause at Leeds United, with the Blues set to pay £20 million to seal a transfer, covering the player's relegation release clause. 24-year-old Adams played 24 games for Leeds United in the Premier League
Adams began his career with New York Red Bulls, spending seven years at the club in total, before a move to Germany with RB Leipzig followed. Three seasons and 75 games later, RB decided to sell the midfielder to Leeds in a deal worth £20 million.
Chelsea have been the most active team in the transfer window this summer, with a variety of players departing and arriving. Midfield is the area that the Stamford Bridge outfit are seeking to approve before the transfer window slams shut.
Adams has 36 caps for the United States Mens National Team and the midfielder knows how important it is to play in the top division in order to guarantee international recognition.
Chelsea are ready to double Adams' salary should he make a move to West London.
