Chelsea have paid a deal that could increase to £53 million, and Lavia will earn around £80,000 a week at the Bridge on a seven-year contract.

Lavia is seen as one of the brightest holding midfield prospects playing in the Premier League and will be available for Chelsea 's game with West Ham this coming weekend, as the deal appears to have been registered just in time.

Chelsea will now boast a midfield trio of Enzo, Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo .

"I'm really happy join Chelsea and be a part of this exciting project," said Lavia after completing the deal.
