Everton and West Ham target Wilfried Gnonto submits transfer request
Italian forward Wilfried Gnonto has asked Leeds United to let him leave the club, as both Everton and West Ham step up their pursuit of the winger. Gnonto has not been available to play for the Elland Road outfit for the last two games, as he refused
Valued at close to £35 million, Leeds will likely be open to selling the forward as they would rather not keep hold of a player who is unhappy.
So far this season, Gnonto has been training by himself as the club seek to distance the player from the rest of his teammates.
Club manager Daniel Farke has asked for committed players only and suggested that Gnonto needs to change his attitude if he ends up staying at the club.
Everton 's initial offer of £25 million has already been rejected, and West Ham are now expected to make a bid for the 19-year-old.
Gnonto scored four times in 29 appearances during Leeds' doomedPremier League campaign.
