Chelsea make fresh Romelu Lukaku transfer decision
Chelsea are prepared to consider the loan departure of Romelu Lukaku, having failed to receive permanent bids on the table.
The Belgium international has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, but they have been no permanent proposals.
Juventus have agreed terms with the striker, but they are reluctant to meet the current asking price of €40m set by the west London side.
It is now reported that the Blues are willing to offload him on a temporary deal, although they will want his wages to be covered in full.
Lukaku took a 50 per cent pay cut during his loan spell at Inter, and he may have to do something similar to leave the Blues this summer.
Roma are currently leading the pursuit of the former Everton man, and reports claim that Jose Mourinho has been in contact with him.
The Giallorossi are looking for more quality in their frontline after losing Tammy Abraham for most of the season with a serious knee injury.
