Chelsea handed injury boost with defender back in training
Chelsea have been handed a big injury boost with Benoit Badiashile back in training after his lengthy absence.
The Frenchman joined the Blues from Monaco in the January transfer window . He was one of the bright sparks before suffering a hamstring injury in May.
The centre-back has been nursing his concern over the past few months, but he could make his return to the matchday squad following the international break.
Badiashile has today reported for team training with the non-internationals. He was one of those present alongside the likes of Armando Broja and Romeo Lavia .
Lavia signed for the Blues from Southampton last month, but manager Mauricio Pochettino revealed that he will need to work on his fitness before making his debut.
Chelsea have had a woeful start to the Premier League season with only four points from four games. Their only win came against Luton Town which was expected.
They face Bournemouth on the road after the international break.
