Erik ten Hag confirms Jadon Sancho decision before Brentford game
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Jadon Sancho won't be available for today's Premier League encounter against Brentford.
The Englishman is currently suspended by the Red Devils after his public criticism of Ten Hag following last month's defeat at Arsenal .
He has been training away from the first-team squad in recent weeks, and the manager has now revealed that his situation has not changed.
Ten Hag said: "I am sorry but there's nothing [that has] changed and he's not available, so he's not part [of the squad]. So I don't have any comment on that."
Sancho's absence is not a huge blow for the Red Devils. They already have Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho on the left wing.
Similarly, Ten Hag has the services of Antony and Facundo Pellistri on the other flank. The former is expected to start later today.
Hence, the club are in a good position on either side and may not be fussed by Sancho's reluctance to issue an apology to Ten Hag.
