Erik ten Hag confirms 25yo star is fit to face Man City
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Aaron Wan-Bissaka has returned to training ahead of the Manchester derby on Sunday.
The right-back has been on the sidelines for United for several weeks with a hamstring injury, but he has returned in time for the derby at Old Trafford.
Wan-Bissaka was involved in team training today and he is expected to make the matchday squad to face Pep Guardiola 's side in Sunday's late kick-off.
Diogo Dalot has started in the right-back role over the past few games, and he is likely to continue in the position against the Cityzens this weekend.
However, Wan-Bissaka could be called up from the bench if Ten Hag receives more defensive assurance during the Manchester derby.
United are currently on 15 points after nine games into the campaign. They are currently five points adrift of the Champions League positions.
Sunday's game seems a must-win for the club or else they could drop further behind the top four after just 10 games into the campaign.
