Mikel Arteta reacts to Eddie Nketiah's hat-trick for Arsenal
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has heaped praise on Eddie Nketiah following his stellar hat-trick against Sheffield United in the Premier League.
The Gunners returned to winning ways in the top-flight with a 5-0 rout of Sheffield. Nketiah was the star of the show with a hat-trick.
Speaking after the game, Arteta was delighted with three very different goals from the striker, who replaced the injured Gabriel Jesus in the XI.
He said: "There were three very different goals, but all very Eddie Nketiah goals. The first one where he can read the space and timing to get away from the defender and show the composure in the box, the second the ball lands quickly and he has to hit it fast, the third is a superb strike."
Nketiah provided the perfect response after starting on the bench for the last two games. He will be hoping to carry on the good form.
Arsenal face West Ham United in the Carabao Cup fourth round in midweek before travelling to Newcastle United in the league.
