Gary Neville praises Man City star after derby victory
Manchester United legend Gary Neville heaped praise on Manchester City star Bernardo Silva following the derby win over the Red Devils.
The Cityzens registered back-to-back victories in the Premier League earlier today following a convincing performance at Old Trafford.
They had a nervy start to the derby on the road but found their composure soon after and were the dominant side for most of the game.
City eventually won by a 3-0 scoreline but the margin of victory could have been significant with the chances created in the final third.
Speaking after the game, Neville was full of praise for Silva in particular, he said: "In that first 10 minutes where it was difficult for City."
" Bernardo Silva got hold of the game. I thought he was sensational. They could have scored four or five. United tried to man-mark him and he took them all over the pitch."
With the victory, City have jumped to third in the league standings and they are only a couple of points behind leaders Tottenham Hotspur.
The club will return to action against Bournemouth on Saturday and have the chance to temporarily go top of the table with another win.
