Man Utd confirm fresh injury blow, Marcus Rashford doubtful
Manchester United have confirmed the injury absence of Victor Lindelof ahead of the Premier League meeting against Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Lindelof partnered
Harry Maguire in the heart of the defence against
Chelsea in midweek and he was substituted midway through the game with an undefined injury.
United have now confirmed that he has not recovered in time from the setback and won't play any part in tomorrow's afternoon kick-off against the Cherries at home.
Alongside him, Marcus Rashford could also miss the encounter. The Englishman was not involved in Friday's training session after being ruled out with an illness.
He is now facing a race to be fit for the league game. There is a high possibility that Rashford may not be involved in the matchday squad to take on the South Coast outfit.
Rashford was only a late substitute against the Blues after being dropped to the bench for Antony. He could have a similar role to play if he is deemed fit for the game.
