Erik ten Hag confirms key player will start vs Wigan Athletic
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Andre Onana will be available for the FA Cup third round tie against Wigan Athletic on the road.
The Cameroon international joined the Red Devils from Inter Milan over the summer and he has since played every minute in goal across all competitions.
Altay Bayindir has been waiting patiently for his opportunity and he may need to wait longer with Onana set to face the Latics away from home.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils boss added that the club have yet to find out whether Onana will be available to face Spurs at home on January 14.
Cameroon face Guinea in the African Cup of Nations just 24 hours later and they have yet to receive permission from the federation as a result.
Bayindir could be in line to start versus Spurs. The Turkey international has been waiting patiently for his debut over the past few months.
He was anticipated to feature in the Carabao Cup earlier this season, but much to the surprise of the fans, Onana started in those games too.
