Sir Jim Ratcliffe eyeing deals for Palace and Everton stars
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has plans to bring Michael Olise and Jarrad Branthwaite to Manchester United during the next transfer window.
Ratcliffe recently agreed a 25 per cent stake at United. As part of the deal, he will be handed control over the footballing operations.
He is likely to invest on young and promising stars over experienced ones. It is claimed that Olise and Branthwaite are among top targets.
Olise has had an injury-plagued campaign with Crystal Palace , but he has been in excellent form with six goals and three assists in 11 games.
Meanwhile, Branthwaite has developed into a top-class centre-back at Everton following a productive loan spell abroad with PSV.
He has been brilliant with his defensive work for the Toffees and is being seen as a potential replacement for Raphael Varane at United.
Neither player will come on the cheap during the summer. It may cost at least £50 million to sign each at the end of the campaign.
