Sir Jim Ratcliffe ready to sell Man Utd midfielder this summer
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has made the decision to part ways with Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen at the end of the campaign.
The Dane joined the Red Devils on a free transfer in 2022 and had a good first half to the season before suffering a nasty ankle injury.
Since his comeback, he has been playing in his own shadow. Eriksen is no longer a guaranteed starter under manager Erik ten Hag.
Galatasaray were recently interested in landing his services for a nominal fee, but Eriksen made the decision to see out the campaign.
It is now reported that Ratcliffe is keen to offload Eriksen from the squad in the summer as he looks to reduce the average age.
Casemiro and Raphael Varane are other candidates that could head for the exit door before an anticipated summer spending spree.
Ratcliffe, who will be a minority shareholder at United later this month, will take control of the football operations going forward.
