The Frenchman has endured a tough time with the Bundesliga champions and he has been playing second fiddle to Harry Kane .

He is said to be keen on securing more playing time and this could pave the way for his departure at the end of the campaign.

According to Florian Plettenberg , United are one of the clubs interested in signing him and contact has been made through his camp.

United currently have Rasmus Hojlund as the main centre-forward with Anthony Martial providing the back-up off the bench.

Martial is currently out injured until April at least and he could pursue a new challenge away when his contract expires in June.

Tel could be seen as his replacement and a strong competitor to Hojlund, but he is unlikely to come on the cheap this summer.

Bayern could easily demand €60-70m for the young Frenchman.
