Pochettino confirms double Chelsea injury blow
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed a double injury blow ahead of the Premier League clash against Manchester City.
The London giants are currently 10th in the standings after their hard-fought 3-1 win over
Crystal Palace earlier this week.
They will be aiming for a second straight league win this weekend, but it won't be easy against an in-form City side.
Ahead of the game, Pochettino has revealed a double setback with Carney Chukwuemeka and Thiago Silva sidelined.
Chukwuemeka twisted his ankle two days ago and he has been ruled out alongside Silva who has a minor muscle injury.
Pochettino said: " Carney Chukwuemeka twisted his ankle two days ago, he's out. Thiago Silva also has minor injury, he is not available. We need to assess day by day."
Chelsea face a huge task against the Cityzens, who are currently with a 100 per cent record since the beginning of the year.
The Cityzens played out a thrilling 4-4 draw against the Blues last time around but will be eyeing three points this time.
