According to Teamtalk, Isak has emerged as one of the options for manager Mikel Arteta as he looks for a goalscoring marksman.

Isak was a top target for the Gunners during his time at Real Sociedad, but the Magpies beat them to his signature by triggering his €60m release clause.

The Swede has since been a quality signing for Eddie Howe 's side. He has netted 16 goals this campaign despite multiple short term injuries.

It is now reported that Arsenal could make a fresh move for Isak this summer as they look to take advantage of Newcastle 's FFP issues.
