Dusan Vlahovic breaks silence amid Chelsea transfer talk
Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has insisted that he is fully focused on the Serie A outfit amid reported interest from Chelsea.
The Serbian has been linked with a move away from the Turin giants for some time. He was fancied to move to England last summer.
The speculation has been reignited in recent weeks and when pressed on this, Vlahovic said that he wants to win something important at Juventus.
He said: "I heard about it [ Chelsea rumours] and saw the newspapers, but I didn’t know anything. I was thinking mainly about myself and preparing for a good season."
"Two years have passed since I joined Juventus and I’m very happy here. This is my answer, I want to win something important with Juve. Then we’ll see, we’ll talk about it later."
The news is a potential setback for the Blues, who are determined to land a marquee striker when the transfer window reopens this summer.
The Blues have Napoli's Victor Osimhen as an alternative, but he is unlikely to come on the cheap due to a €130m release clause.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is prepared to discuss a long-term payment plan, but he is unwilling to lower the asking price.
