Arsenal open the door for midfielder's sale
Arsenal have opened the door for the departure of midfielder Thomas Partey amid his desire to stay at the club.
The Ghanaian has spent four seasons with the north London giants, but he has struggled to stay fit over prolonged spells.
He has been out of action for 70 games with different injuries and the club are now prepared to part ways with him.
Partey will enter the final year of his deal in July this year and the midfielder seems happy to run out his contract.
However, the club share a different stance and prefer to recoup some funds rather than losing him on a free transfer.
Juventus and Napoli are among admirers of Partey in Serie A. The former have been keeping tabs on his situation.
Partey has also been linked with multiple clubs in the Saudi Pro League, but he prefers to continue in Europe next term.
The big question mark is whether he will accept a reasonable pay-cut to leave the Gunners over the coming weeks.
