The 24-year-old has been having an excellent season in Alkmaar and interested clubs are circling the midfielder. Fiorentina have been credited with interest in the Italian press.

However, Reijnders has extended his contract with AZ until the summer of 2027, ending speculation that he could depart this month.

Reijnders joined AZ Alkmaar from PEC Zwolle back in 2017 and he has since made 100 appearances for the club, scoring 11 times and adding nine assists.
