Hertha Berlin have now allowed the right-back to join Hellas Verona on loan until the end of the season.
Zeefuik will also be joined by Dutch winger Jayden Braaf, who arrived initially on loan from Borussia Dortmund. Hellas Verona do have the option to make the move permanent.
Braaf only joined Dortmund in the summer from Manchester City, but the club’s management have not been impressed by the 20-year-old, who has played in Serie A before with Udinese.
