Man Utd close to signing three-time Eredivisie winner
Manchester United are close to landing the signature of Bayern Munich defender Noussair Mazraoui, according to The Guardian.
The Red Devils have decided to sign a new right-back and it is now reported that they have finalised a deal worth £20m for his services.
They have also agreed terms with the former Ajax man, but a transfer will be put on hold until they part ways with Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Wan-Bissaka is currently on the radar of West Ham United and the Red Devils are optimistic of finalising his exit in the next couple of days.
Bayern are also waiting for United to sign Mazraoui, considering they want to recoup funds for the purchase of another central defender.
Hiroki Ito suffered a metatarsal fracture at the weekend and this has increased their ambition to land another marquee centre-back.
Jonathan Tah of Bayer Leverkusen is the primary target and he could be signed for an overall package in the region of £25-30m.
