The England international was a regular on the bench during the back end of last season and he is now expected to leave the Gunners.

The 25-year-old has finalised terms over a long-term deal with Forest and he could undergo his medical once a transfer fee is sorted.

Forest failed with a £25 million bid for Nketiah earlier this week. Arsenal are looking for at least £30m and their request is likely to be met.

Nketiah will become the second high-profile graduate to leave the club following Emile Smith Rowe 's move to Fulham this month.
