Fresh update on Man Utd's interest in Thomas Tuchel
Manchester United are yet to make formal contact with former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel, according to The Guardian.
The Red Devils are contemplating a change of manager following the club's dreadful start to the campaign under Erik ten Hag.
No decision was made regarding the Dutchman's future after today's executive meeting, but he could be sacked in the coming days.
Tuchel was one of the top candidates to succeed the Dutchman in the summer, but the club have not made formal contact with him thus far.
There was indeed a meeting between him and co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe , but the German decided to take a break after his Bayern stint.
Meanwhile, United are also looking a temporary option in charge if they need more time to find a potential replacement for Ten Hag.
United assistant Ruud van Nistelrooy has emerged as a top candidate for the Mancunian giants for that role, considering his prior work at PSV.
