Arsenal set to miss out on French defender
Arsenal are set to miss out on Galatasaray defender Sacha Boey as the Turkish outfit have no plans of selling him.
The right-back was regularly linked with the Gunners earlier this year. It was anticipated that the club could make a formal bid.
However, that has not happened until now and Aksam report that Galatasaray are happy to keep him for the coming season.
The Turkish champions are determined to keep the core of the squad together as they prepare for their Champions League return.
Boey was excellent last season with an average of three tackles and seven duels won per game. He also made key interceptions.
The Frenchman recently said that he is 'very flattered' to be linked with the Gunners, but it seems unlikely that he will join them.
Meanwhile, Arsenal don't need to invest on another right-back, having already signed Jurrien Timber from Ajax this summer.
They now have Timber, Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu as concrete options on the right side of the defence next season.
