Departures for Naby Keita , James Milner , Fabinho and Jordan Henderson have left gaping holes in Liverpool 's midfield, and manager Jurgen Klopp as been extremely busy in the transfer market attempting to plug these gaps. A deal for Wataru Endo , Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai followed. However, Klopp is not happy with just those three and wants to add Gravenberch to his squad immediately.

The player has been linked with a move to Liverpool for several months, with the major hiccup believed to be transfer fee. This is now no longer a problem and Gravenberch has been informed he is free to discuss personal terms with the Anfield side.
