Arsenal winger agrees terms with Turkish giants
Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe has agreed terms with Turkish giants Trabzonspor ahead of a free transfer.
The Ivory Coast international has been deemed surplus to requirements by the Gunners and he has no future at the club.
He has been speaking with Saudi teams over the past few days, but none of them have been able to convince him.
He has now accepted terms over a contract with Trabzonspor and a deal could be formally completed in a few hours.
Pepe's current contract with the Gunners expires in the summer of 2024, but the club are prepared to release him on a free.
They have been waiting for the right time to do so, considering they don't want to compensate for his Bosman exit.
It appears Trabzonspor are prepared to pay Pepe a huge signing on fee such that he accepts a significant salary cut.
With Pepe leaving on a free, Cedric Soares remains the only outcast, who has yet to find a new club for himself.
