Mikel Arteta reacts after Arsenal's late win vs Man City
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has sent his reaction following the club's 1-0 Premier League win over Manchester City on Sunday.
The Gunners went into the game with a dreadful league record against the Cityzens. They had lost each of the previous 12 meetings.
The north London giants were considered as underdogs for the latest game, but they managed to secure an incredible win in the end.
City mustered only one shot on target over the entire game. Arsenal only managed two but one of those was Gabriel Martinelli 's winner.
Speaking after the game, Arteta said: "It feels like a big one, because it’s been a while. It’s been so many years without beating them. We have beaten the best team in the world today, by far in my opinion."
The Gunners had some shaky moments at the beginning of the game but they grew in confidence following the half-time interval.
Arteta's substitutes changed the dynamic of the encounter. Kai Havertz provided the vital assist for Martinelli's 86th-minute goal.
