Man Utd chasing signature of Bayer Leverkusen duo
Manchester United are chasing the signature of Bayer Leverkusen duo Edmond Tapsoba and Jeremie Frimpong this summer.
The Red Devils are expected to land a new central defender in the next transfer window with Raphael Varane touted to leave on a free transfer.
The club are also likely to pursue a new right-back with Aaron Wan-Bissaka's future also uncertain. He will enter the final year of his deal this summer.
According to Manchester Evening News, Tapsoba and Frimpong are being eyed as potential replacements for the duo ahead of next season.
Tapsoba has developed into a key centre-back for Leverkusen and he has played a huge part in their dominance at the top of Bundesliga.
Frimpong has also been hugely important from the right wing-back spot. He has accumulated eight goals and 10 assists from the position.
Both players have release clauses in their respective contracts at Leverkusen. Tapsoba's clause stands at €60m while Frimpong's is reportedly at €40m.
