Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Man City, Colwill starts
Chelsea will be eyeing back-to-back wins in the Premier League when they face Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium today.
The Blues are currently 10th in the league standings and face a huge task of beating the Cityzens. They have not won in the last seven meetings.
Predicted Line-up:
Djordje Petrovic has been brilliant in goal since replacing the injured Robert Sanchez . The Serbian is expected to continue between the sticks and could have a busy evening.
In the backline, there will be an enforced change with Thiago Silva injured. Levi Colwill should come into the heart of the defence to partner Axel Disasi at the Etihad.
Malo Gusto looks set to feature in the right-back role with Ben Chilwell on the opposite end. In midfield, no changes are likely on the cards from the recent win at Palace.
Moises Caicedo had a tough outing with misplaced passes, but he is the best defensive midfielder in the squad. He should be accompanied by Enzo Fernandez once more.
Conor Gallagher scored his first two goals of the Premier League campaign in the derby win last Monday. The England star looks primed to continue in the number 10 position.
Further forward, we could see Cole Palmer and Nicklas Jackson out wide with Christopher Nkunku up front. Nkunku and Palmer could interchange roles during the game.
Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1): Petrovic; Gusto, Disasi, Colwill, Chilwell; Fernandez, Caicedo; Palmer, Gallagher, Jackson; Nkunku.
