Eredivisie manager could be Liverpool's next head coach
Liverpool are reportedly interested in appointing Feyenoord manager Arne Slot as their next head coach, according to reports.
Jurgen Klopp has already confirmed that he will be leaving the Reds after nine years and he is unlikely to change his decision.
The Reds were initially linked with a move for Ruben Amorim of Sporting, but they have distanced away from him in recent days.
Instead, the focus is now on recruiting Slot from Feyenoord. The 45-year-old has already held a meeting with the Reds' board.
Liverpool have other candidates on their shortlist and they are expected to make a final decision in the next week or so.
Meanwhile, the Reds are currently in a battle for the league title and they are second in the standings with 74 points.
Manchester City, who are third with 73 points and a game in hand are favourites, but the Reds won't want to give up.
If the Reds miss out on the title, they will end up with only the Carabao Cup in Klopp's ninth and final season with them.
