Mikel Arteta confirms several injuries ahead of Bolton clash
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed several injury concerns ahead of the Carabao Cup third round tie against Bolton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners recently played out a 2-2 Premier League draw against Manchester City on the road. They were down to 10 men at the break and had to preserve a one-nil lead.
They did brilliantly until the dying stages of stoppage time when John Stones bagged the equaliser for City. Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori were taken off with issues in the second half.
David Raya was also spotted limping after the game while Gabriel Martinelli could not complete the match too. Arteta has now revealed that he has few injury issues to deal with.
Hence, he is expected to make multiple changes to the starting line-up for tomorrow's Cup tie against the Trotters at the Emirates. Jorginho, Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling are due to start.
Ethan Nwaneri and Miles Lewis-Skelly could also make their full debuts while there could be a surprise start for 16-year-old Jack Porter in goal for the north London giants.
